Jay Rockefeller's speech

473pxjay_rockefeller_official_photo With Joe Biden and former President Clinton speaking tonight, some other speakers got lost in the mix. One such person was Sen. Jay Rockefeller (W.Va.). Here's what Rockefeller had to say:

"We need a leader who will re-establish America as an energy superpower by pursuing every resource at our disposal: alternative fuels, drilling and our most abundant domestic resource, tomorrow's clean coal."

Surprise, surprise... we agree.

Rockefeller may be a West Virginia Senator but he is a staunch Democract and will vote the party line 99% of the time. That said, he will talk the talk but not walk the walk unless he feels he can politically get away with it. He has really not done well in promoting clean coal even though he comes from a coal state. Case in point the Clinton years. He was a virtual puppet for the Clintons and their non-existant energy policy. All they could think about was gas.
