There’s No Debating Coal

As President Obama and Gov. Romney meet in New York tonight for a town hall-style debate, one issue needs to be at the forefront of the evening: energy in America. Now is the time  for the candidates to lay out their energy plans and discuss how they envision the future of coal-based electricity.

There are 21 days until the election. Candidates are talking about what the next four years would look like if they were to win. But, we as citizens and taxpayers know what’s important and know how much is at stake not only for the next four years, but for future generations.  That’s why we need to stand together and fight to make sure that no matter who the next president is, coal is included in their energy plan.

It’s imperative that our next president will keep coal plants running and continue to fuel families and small businesses with this affordable, abundant and domestic energy source.

Stand with coal, and share this information with your friends and family. We must continue to remind the candidates that Coal=Jobs.
